Asked to comment on the reasons behind Russia's withdrawal from Cam Ranh, the commander said that "one cannot be great and poor at the same time". cdi.org ..free of foreign domination -- something you seem to regret ... Now when did I say anything like that? I wouldn't have wanted to put American troops in VN in either '45 or '65. Supporting the non-communists otherwise w/arms and aid is another matter.
