Military discussion is not banned here yet. Hey, if there ever was an "Armchair General," it's me! I have commented several times that some SO Lt Birds who thought they would be lucky to retire with an Eagle are now going to have Stars fall on them. The job the SO guys did replacing the 4th ID was just outstanding. Going to be a couple of very good books out of this war on SO.

The advanced word we got last month is they expect those A Teams inflicted more damage and casualties than all of the troops and operations from Kuwait to Baghdad and without losing a single Green Beret. Does that mean we can't call them "snake eaters" anymore? :o}}} I guess the world now knows what a Green Beret armed with an A10 can do. This is a force that will be feared all over the Middle East. That is a good thing. Mogadishu - NOT! I hope they let them take down Saddam and complete the object lesson.
