Not only that there are so many balloons up in the air its hard for a candidate to know which way to turn.
1. Economy--seems to be improving but until the stock and job markets come roaring back could be an issue. Chances look good for it to be in good shape by 2004.
2. Weapons of Mass Destruction--Havent found them BUT there is not a single intelligence service in the world that doesnt believe they existed. Will an answer be forthcoming by 2004? Who knows, but some still care.
3. Saddam Hussein where are you? 2 down, one to go appears to be looking up. Chances are good we will get him prior to 2004 that would certainly be good for Bush.
4. Iraq self government and infrastructure--every day gets better. Rome wasnt built in a day and neither will be Iraq, but by 2004 I think it reasonable to believe they will have some form of police, army and government and for sure a Constitution. Gonna be hard to refute Bush if this works out.
5. North Korea--still shooting its mouth off. VERY dangerous situation, good thing we got calm heads running things. It would be easy to bomb the shit out of them and end up nuclearizing the entire Korean peninsula. Might come to that but I'll be a monkeys Uncle if China doesnt wake up soon and stomp around like a bull in a china closet. They have more to lose then anyone.
6. Middle East--Believe it or not it SEEMS things are improving. Bill Clinton kissed everyone's ass in a desperate attempt to win the peace and a Nobel Peace Prize. Effort failed, took strong action by Bush to show we are getting sick and tired of the BS. Now, what will we do to shut down Iran and Syria, that last two holdouts to true peace and a Palistinian nation?
7. Africa, damn its at it again. Bush knows its not popular to go in there (unless your a member of the Black Caucas) but he does have a heart. Can he settle it without costing American Soldiers lives or having pictures televised of American soldiers shooting youngsters drugged up and toting AK 47's? Stay tuned, still in the air.
