>>So in the long term, what are you investing in? <<

I am looking at seriously switching to hard assets, any hard assets, commodities, metals etc. I have been watching them for a while now and have started my paper trading phase as I gear up. I am just now opening up my account so haven't done any real trades yet. I figure with a pre-set delivery date, limited number of contracts and little in the way of Joe Six Pack involvement, it might be a more sane market to trade. If I want to play the stock side, I can always play the index futures.

FOr stock based trading, I have been leaning hard in the global fund arenas since htey limit my exposure to a sinking dollar, pay decent yields and are by nature diversified to some degree. It is hard finding the ones that have low fees however and I don't think I have held one more than a month so far yet. Been doing OK swing trading them though. More boring that playing SINA or CHINA but at least most of them are really worth something. -ggg-

I was playing high yield div plays last year but most of them are getting silly in price also. Many of them are also getting fat in operating expenses now that they have the love of wall street and are piling up more debt than they had a few years ago but not really making much in Returns on Investment. Bargains are hard to find now days.

Since this is an e-wave thread, I am starting to view this move as a 5 wave move rather than my original view it was a ABC. If we don't reverse down quick, I may have to marry my new outlook and accept that we climb into end of year.

Ain't liquidity great? -ggggg-

Good Luck,

Lee
