It is so terrible, this urge to make the United States and its allies secure, and to incidentally spread democracy, mainly through diplomacy, throughout the world! How can we stand the Neocon Agenda, which is to encourage civil liberties, the rule of law, and the creation of democratic institutions through the developing world. My gosh, who are we to sympathize with the victims of dictators, and to think that people would be better of when not under the thumb of a police state? Maybe people like to be tortured, maimed, and killed? Who are we to say that it is bad to live under brutal dictatorships? I am so ashamed to be a Neocon, with my evil wish that people would live prosperously under moderate regimes............
