Cramer 07/28/2003 01:13 PM EDT Click here for more stories by James J. Cramer Market Analysis BULLISH Good news from earnings season is buried in the DJIA. It will fuel a move to 9300, and 10,000 won't be far behind. Don't look now, but even with this dip, we are about to challenge this 9300 level on the Dow, and I think we will take it out. Maybe for good. I think that will happen because there is a ton of good news buried within the averages. AT&T (T:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis), for example, finally seems to have found something that will stick with MCI -- although that beast with nine lives still might beat the rap. Disney (DIS:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) has some success at the box office. American Express (AXP:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) should report a great number as travel rebounds. 3M (MMM:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) shouldn't have a problem reaching $150 on that number. McDonald's (MCD:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) is turning. How long can Wal-Mart (WMT:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) stay at $55 with sales rising to the high end? Can DuPont (DD:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) really report a bad number after Dow Chemical (DOW:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) and Eastman Chemical (EMN:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) reported good ones? Remarkably, I think the positives in the Dow Jones Industrial Average seem to be hitting everyone except the people at Dow Jones, who continue with headlines like "At Earnings Halftime, Stocks Hear Mixed Messages." Are they kidding? The only mixed message is from the bond market. Dow 10,000, here we come.
