UN protect us from what? Our mad dash towards worldwide hegemony? I don't think there's anyone who can protect us, including us, from our oil thirsty junta in DC. Lack of funding is no problem for Bush, is it? He's spending the U.S. right into bankruptcy - unless, of course, you're a family member of a U.S. Serviceman in which case you buy your infant formula with food stamps. Or unless, of course, you're a veteran in which case the VA will stonewall you all the way to the cemetery to keep you from getting your rightfully earned benefits. And etcetera, and etcetera, . . . . But there's plenty of dough to finance our worldwide Depleted Uranium Follies - coming soon to a theater near you. Learn a new word: diplomacy. CC
