Of course, Clinton was wounded by the impeachment process. Can you imagine the uproar if he had tried to fire Freeh in the middle of the impeachment process?

absolute nonsense...those budget cuts came from Ronny Raygun, King George I as well... budget or NO budget....THEY KNEW! the stupid bureaucrats IGNORED the findings of their OWN agents....there was no understaffing....just incompetence in nailing these guys BEFORE it happened.... Their agent was IN THE APT with 2 of them in San Diego They were told over and over that they would/could use AIRLINERS as weapons....yet Bush and Company act like they never heard of it, even though they were told and the intelligence agencies warned that that was a probable means of attacking us.....
