Mr. Simon Tam reports
DRILLING ON MCGARRY TOWNSHIP PROPERTY, KIRKLAND LAKE, ONTARIO
Pursuant to the option agreement between Consolidated PPM Development and Cascadia International Resources, Cascadia has started the phase 2 drilling program pertaining to the 16 mining claims located in McGarry township, east of Kirkland Lake, Ont. Under the terms of the agreement, Cascadia has agreed to carry out work commitments of $500,000 on the property in three stages over a period of 48 months. The company completed phase 1 drilling program in 2001 and Cascadia will resume phase 2 drilling program to expend not less than $50,000 exploration work on the property.
Heath & Sherwood Drilling (1986) Inc. of Kirkland Lake, Ont., has been contracted to drill approximately 2,000 feet (600 metres) for this phase 2 program.
Cascadia has engaged the services of Doug Robinson, PEng, of Kirkland Lake, Ont., to be the qualified person on the project. Mr. Robinson reports that diamond drill hole CPM 03-03 was collared on July 4, and as of this report, is at a length of 1,974 feet (602 metres). The core is being logged and stored in a secure workshop in Kirkland Lake, and selected core samples are being sawed, one-half of the core being shipped to Swastika Laboratories in Swastika, Ont., for assays. No assays have yet been received.
Assays will be released as soon as they are received. Cascadia will await the assays and evaluate the results before proceeding with further work.
