Oh, of course. In general, this is a great time to be long options, from an IV perspective. I am currently long some Sept XAU calls - my only position at the moment. But the SOX options (if not index options in general) still seem extravagantly priced to me. The SOX near-the-money puts have something like 45% IV for both August and September. I think it is a demand-driven market that has them overpriced. The calls are in the low 30s.
