thanks scooter- we've also got the name of a guy who owns some land down there. harold's got a call into him now. in all likelihood we'd probably end up renting where ever we go. less hassle. i've been reading a lot about costa rica - one big negative for harold is the wave action down there - big surfing area apparently - not conducive to boating i wouldn't think. been talking to a few people about belize too - one of our local masset residents is building down there (i can't believe it!!) how'd you enjoy the mariner's game yesterday. hope you had some shade from the sun. rosita
