I wouldn't be the one to ask, tb, don't follow kry that much any more .... there may be an active thread on yahoo, or maybe ragingbull, not sure, but there have been in the past, like in the early days of stockhouse when half or more of the entire forum was kry posts .... which tend to a polarised mixture of rabid hypesters and strident bubble-poppers all typing at the tops of their voices .... thing to do is bring beer and popcorn, find a height of land from which to observe the process, and be sure not to get any on ya Personally i think Chávez is a demented little dickhead, though in some small ways admirably less so than his predecessors, and sadly, quite possibly less so than his successors, and if there are any Normal People in la república de Bolívar, they have my deepest sympathy

The restatements are meaningless as they do not effect operations. Earnings/losses were moved from one reporting period to another. Some losses got bigger, and so did profits. The mark-to-market items are pictures of events that have not happened, but could have happened on the dates of record IF the futures bets were realized, one way or the other. It's just as meaningless to consider these numbers (from derivatives positions) as "real", as it is to project a 26.8 million profit this year from the 1st quarter results. The only issue with this company is whether or not they will JV Las Cristinas, or be taken out by another company. It's hardly worth the public's attention for anything else, and never has been.
