Oh, I'd say it's more than the left that's aroused. Wayne LaPierre? George Soros? Many a Libertarian.. (including me).
Dubya is by his mendacity and stupidity, building up a real coalition of the pissed-off. Sorry to say I can't really see any of the possible Democratic candidates as strong candidates, but in a few more months it won't matter. It will be "I'm gonna vote for whoever is running against that jerk."

I truly hope people will be motivated to vote, but I have been aware that when I express my personal distaste for the manor in which this administration executes its goals, I only seem to engage people who already agree with me. Others, I think, are warn out by politicians and this endless cascade of egregious acts that one party or another stirs up, truthfully or deceitfully, against one another with every election. And yet others still seem to save up all of their moral outrage for Bill Clinton still, which is something I cannot comprehend--he's history... get over it!!! (Sorry, couldn't resist that.)

I don't suggest overlooking outrageous behavior and even possible criminal intent if that should be proven. What I'm staying is I don't think that is what this election can be about.

Trying to keep my personal preferences out of it, the coming campaign has to be about a plan for the future that will lead us down a better road than we are now traveling. My concern is that if it turns into a head butting contest of people trying to bully their way to the top as they trash each other, well, what the hell difference will it make who we vote for?

I dunno. Maybe I'm just thinking to narrowly.
