40 years? It won't take that long. Look at South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore for how quickly things change when the money starts running in torrents.

These days, with software and silicon, fibre and the telecosm it can change a LOT faster than that.

Maybe it'll take 20 years. But even 10 years will see significant change.
