one million gigabytes

That was my last post last night. As I was climbing into bed, I was thinking that since a petabyte is a million gigabytes and

8,000 million bits -> 1,000 million bytes
-> 1,000 MegaBytes
-> 1 GigaByte

what the author had probably written was petabyte size, or 8,000 million million bits. Now we know what a math phobic, English major editor would do to that "stuttering" construction.

Just a bedtime thought.
