I like Sam Nunn, though I was angry when he didn't support Bush pere on the first Gulf War. I liked Paul Simon, not ideologically, of course, but for his plain decency. George Mitchell is a pretty decent guy. Leiberman is still one of the best, though he disappointed me when he went with Gore. I like Don Schaefer, the former governor of Maryland, although he is certainly not presidential. Tony Williams, now mayor of DC, is a pretty level headed Democrat, and as close to a Republican as DC could get. There are not many, though.......
