RE:"Pray for a less economically challenged administration"

You must be talking about Clinton because the wheels for this Real Estate bubble were fueled in large part during the Clinton administration. They also go way back...

First, the "Real Estate bubble" to which you refer is a Jimbo call and not necessarily the general view of real estate professionals. Some markets are experiencing high levels of speculation but few markets are seeing huge overbuilding. The rise in prices in some markets is mostly due to high demand and insufficient production.

You blame Clinton for the housing boom as if its a fault when in reality, its a positive reaction to what were very good economics during the 90s and rising national prosperity. Sour grapes seems like a more apt call for your complaint.

As with most products, rising demand for housing pushed up prices. After ten years of economic expansion, its not surprising that prices are at an all time high.

However, give Bush another term, and that 'problem' should be eliminated just as he has eliminated so many other pressing 'problems' from the Clinton years such as low unemployment, job growth, peace etc.
