Exactly. My brother visited India last year and has a Bangalore webmaster who can cobble up endless pages dirt cheap, something like $500/mo.

I heard Paul Hawken speak 15 years ago saying "by 2005 there will be 2 BILLION unemployed males between the ages of 15 and 28, prime fodder for revolution and chaos. We need to reverse the thinking of the Industrial Age and begin to learn how to create jobs instead of automating them out."

That time bomb is ticking louder now than it was then, and we're seeing the results worldwide.

There needs to be more done on business models that are better at creating entry-level jobs as part of their success, and not just the "would you like fries with that?" variety.

Besides technology, I'd love to invest in such business models, if I could identify them.
