any comments on these companies first TALK- what the heck is this company, they were a penny stock, I thought another networking service provider going to zero... guess not 4:40PM Talk America beats by 11 cents, raises full-year rev guidance (TALK) 10.65 +0.68: Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $0.37 per share, $0.11 better than the Reuters Research consensus of $0.26; revenues rose 20.6% year/year to $93.7 mln vs the $91.1 mln consensus. Co raises 2003 total rev guidance to $373-$386 mln from $362-$379 mln. Next microstrategy, this is a blowout 5:03PM MicroStrategy beats handily, ex items, guides (MSTR) 40.83 -0.03: Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $0.39 per share, excluding approx $3.5 mln in charges, $0.18 better than the Reuters Research consensus of $0.21; revenues rose 18.5% year/year to $43.6 mln vs the $38.7 mln consensus. Company sees Q3 revenues of $36-39 mln, consensus $39 mln; for Y03 sees revenues of $155-165 mln, consensus is $158.5 mln. Looksmart also outstanding but I consider them to be a me-too player
