When I mention it I usually get a dumfounded, deer in the headlight look from the Bush basher. They have no retort.

Except that my replies, stating that the overall tax burden increased under Clinton particularly true for highest earners, have gone unanswered. You pick a single initiative and try to turn into into a tax policy discussion.

I bring up the tax free capital gains of up to $500k on the sale of a primary residence, every two years (and it's pro-ratable) SIGNED buy Clinton because I get tired of hearing how only Republican tax breaks are a "gift to the rich".

You'd be surprised how many people don't know that their neighbor, a millionare just cashed out of his house for $500k tax free.

So this is why you keep bringing it up. That's funny! Let me clue you in.......you don't get a response because there's no there there. We are not dumbfounded but rather perplexed as to why you see it as so important.
