"English ain't your forte, huh?"

ain't? Poor English at best.

forté is spelled with an accent mark.

The definition for humiliate I used is from Webster's dictionary.

You are the one who insisted that humiliate has something to do with a power relationship. It doesn't as you have indicated in your reference("To lower the pride, dignity, or self-respect of.") To refresh your mememory here is what I posted:"to reduce to a lower position in one's own eyes or others' eyes: mortify"
