Strong stuff.

Everybody likes a winner. Everybody prefers to be on a winning team.

Americans never have liked whiners and losers with only excuses left and no concrete plan to win again.

And by extreme, I don't mean Mondale/Dukakis liberal; I mean people who would rather have the United States meet with disaster than have Bush succeed

That's it in a nutshell. The more such a whiff gets out to the public, the greater the Democratic defeat will be. Whether you agree or disagree with Mondale/Dukakis liberalism, it was an optimistic program, designed to improve the lives of the American people. Not so the current carping - you can't even find a program in there, just a wish for quagmires, recessions and disasters.

...The Democratic party is totally bankrupt, full of personal vendetta and hatred. They have no ideas on what they would do in power, only what they don't want the Republicans to do. I do not trust them with the security or the future of this country anymore.

Pretty much hits the nail on the head. Oddly enough, that sounds a bit like Clinton's speech from last week.
