its not my job to know, I have said for years that SS is an unfair tax against the young and should be rolled into the general fund. This is before this offshoring situation. The retirement age needs to be raised to 70, and this tax burden of over 12K per year needs to be removed from the payroll. Its going to take courage on the part of some politician to pull this off, but they'd better, or else its red ink for as far as the eye can see.

The other problem is the currencies of China and India need to FLOAT, or else the free market really isn't free. Is this administration doing that- not that I know of.

The WH is in denial about this situation, or they have their heads buried in Iraq, or something. I'm talking about 1/10 of the jobs in this country LEAVING. We have seen more than that in Silicon Valley, but that is because we have a recession. However, we are now pulling out of the recession from a corporate standpoint, and companies are indeed hiring again - not here. They are laying off here. Layoffs will escalate to the downside by 04 because this is just taking hold, Bush thinks the jobs situation will improve by the next election- not true.
