Close Encounter With Mars

Although close approaches occur about every thirteen years, this one is a little closer. This "super perigee" has the astrological crowd in a tizzy (technical term). Should be a great view.

As an amateur astronomer...events like this are cherished....everyone get a pair of binoculars...the features will be easily seen...and besides, its the War Planet...<ggg>
