Yes, and I agree that we have to manage the deficits so that they do not balloon monstrously, if possible. But that will take a solider majority in Congress, considering that the Republican caucus in the House has a substantial number of moderates in it, and that the Senate is evenly divided, except for the Vice President, and also depends on avoiding defections to keep that much power.......

Yes it is funny that the GAO does not account for the trillions of deferred income in retirement accounts. And ya know retirement accounts turn trillions in capitol gains into ordinary income when it is distributed.

All those folks retiring and living on all that ordinary income.
