Americans will always lose jobs to those who have a lower labor cost, lower standard of living. We lost jobs to Japan before India and China. When Japan approached parity with us we stopped losing jobs to them, now they lose jobs to other nations with a lower labor cost. China and India will prosper from the trade if their governments allow them, and eventually they will also approach income parity with us. The thing you anti-globalists always forget is how well global trade has worked for everyone involved. The trade between the US and Japan allowed them to become one of the richest nations in the world without making the US any poorer.

One only has to look at the difference between North and South Korea to see how Communism impoverishes people and how that form of government makes it almost impossible for an individual to just live let alone prosper.
