Yep, about the only positive card that Bush has to play is the anti-terrorist card. That's why he keeps the angst level so high. If people realize that 9/11 was a one time tragedy, that the odds of a repeat are next to zero, then where will he be?

Even for the people that support his war, and all his other anti-terrorist stuff, what else has the guy done?

To answer that question, you have to understand what they thought was wrong under Clinton. I must say that I was surprised when I learned of their concerns.

For an example, they felt that Clinton was giving away our sovereign rights. He did that by working too closely with the UN and our allies. The UN should never tell us what to do. If they do what we tell them to do, that's fine but if they disagree with our view, then we call them irrelevant and do what we want like Bush did last fall. That's the example of a strong leader with a great deal of courage and honesty.......and not Clinton.

Affirmative action: everyone knows that minorities now have better jobs, make more money and have more rights than whites. Therefore, affirmative action laws must be dismantled. It was shocking that Clinton was white and still supported affirmative action.

Religion: Everyone knows that God founded this nation and that He is responsible for its successs. Furthermore, our Founding Fathers never intended there to be a separation of church and state. Therefore, why can't there be church services in the White House, and a minister/priest to bless Congress when it opens a new session and to bless its food in the cafeteria . Furthermore, we know that Christians are God's true children so why isn't our country renamed the United States of Christian America?

Abortion: Forget everything you have ever been taught on this issue. In spite of the fact woman are adults, they should not have control over their own bodies. Abortion is murder and that's that.

Right to bear arms: when our Founding Fathers put that into the Bill of Rights, they meant for every house to have a gun according to the right. And even though times have changed, it should still be that way. Forget that we have more guns per person that any other country in the world. Forget that we have the highest homicide rate of any of the western nations. Guns are as American as apple pie.....so get over it.

And now for the biggie.........CLINTON DISMANTLED THE MILITARY AND REDUCED DEFENSE SPENDING TO ONLY 16% OF THE TOTAL BUDGET. The magnitude of this crime leaves me speechless. I have to pause here and prayer. There is no bigger faux pas even if Clinton had done a hundred Monicas. Actually, I think he did. ;~((

I can assure you that Bush is making sure that this problem is being taken care of.......and pronto.

So you see, after Clinton, Bush is head and shoulders better. And because in principle, he believes in the above and much more, he can do no wrong even if he does nothing. ;~)
