The left wing of the dem party is the soul of mr. bill and none of his sometimes moderate policy.

How To Destroy A Village By Jason D. Fodeman

Total pages: 232
Published in 2003

A teenager who grew up during the Clinton presidency relates his perception, and the likely consequences, of the dichotomy between the Clinton legacy and the mainstream teaching of parental values. The book chronicles the Clintons? misdeeds, the complicity of the Justice Department, and the free pass by a largely adoring media. It leads to a conclusion that all too often parents prostituted those principles, turning a blind eye to the scandals while sending a confusing mixed message to their progeny. Ultimately it is the very fabric of society that has suffered. For children the waters were muddied as to right and wrong. It was a time that exposed the hypocrisy of parental guidance demonstrating compromised standards, preaching lofty goals while falling short themselves. Nothing is a bigger turn off to a kid than this ?do as I say not as I do? mentality. The author believes the phenomenon has left deep scars on the soul of American life. Regardless of one's politics, all parents and all those in loco parentis should read this book.

I read your post very carefully and now I've reread it. I believe that a powerful argument can be made for the propostion that many of the people in the Bush admin are eroding and attacking freedoms that this country has treasured for over two centuries, but I cannot understand what freedoms you refer to with regard to "left wing extremists" when you write, "I can't sit by and let these extremists take away the freedoms our country was founded on."
Are you talking about the freedom of speech, of assembly, of religion, of press, of travel, to be free of unlawful search and seizure, cruel and unusual punishment, the right to choose our representatives in free and open elections....; what is it that scares you in terms of your view that left wingers are after your freedoms? Did you have something specific in mind or were you just repeating the latest Limbaugh mantra?

----------------------------------------------------------

Did you have anything in mind to support that serious allegation?

Basically, I believe that the LWE faction of the democratic party would like to redistribute wealth in America by installing socialistic laws. That they would unite and change our constitution to one more akin to the constitution of the EU. I believe that LWE would like to remove Amendment 2 of the Bill of Rights. That they would like to change Amendment 1 through judicial mandate and change Amendment 10 by abrogating states rights.

I wish I could spend more time on this, but I'm getting ready to leave town. Perhaps we could discuss the issue next week?

Although a final EU Constitution is still being drafted there is information available on line. I admit I need to do more reading in this regard.

Here is another informative article regarding the EU constitution.

It is the relationship between LWE and the drafters of the EU constitution I question. Not that I believe the US constitution is in any great harm of being usurped any time soon regardless of which party is in power.
