Polvie,

I owe more than a debt of gratitude for what he's done for me and others. Every once in a while, we're blessed to know someone who has a profound impact on us in virtually every way imaginable. He was that type.

He was no hockey player; I got the hockey skills in the family. <VBG>

Seriously though, he did get offered a contract by the NY Yankees in his youth, and his high school catcher did eventually catch for them too.
