what would it take for jobs to stabilize in SV?

the job loss that continues in the state isn't all just heading to china and india....

much of it is being lured away by other states which are more business friendly

Pillowtex Corp., (OTC BB:PWTX.OB - news) a major home fashions manufacturer, said on Wednesday said it closed its 16 plants and terminated 6,450 workers, the latest corporate victim in a textile industry slammed by foreign competition and overcapacity.

6450 pink slips, eh? But of course, Elaine Chao will tell us on Friday that "unemployment always increases during recover!"......
