There are other advantages to havin a yacht.

When your friends buy their new boat, they want you to help bring it home.

My buddy just got a 38 foot Silverton. We're bringin it home next monday and tuesday. It's only a 3-4 hour trip, but we plan to beach it, along the way.<g>

He now is a proud member of what he calls "The Big Arse Boaters".
