sure that is true but the issue is more of a government issue, and this is not something the tech companies will be able to lobby against, just like they weren't successful with the H1B recent lobby.

Of course every company wants whatever is best for them in the short term but the government is looking at the tax rolls and the fact that SS is paid for with payroll taxes and that means they will railroad tech company lobbyists on this issue. In fact the congressman from Vermont really hammered Greenspan during Greenies last speech, did you see that? The problem is the states are broke and no jobs means no taxes.
