...a country, that is right next to a much worse violator of human right, WMD's and probably "harboring" terrorists. Do you buy the Bush pre-emptive doctrine, or not?

Low hundreds of Americans, probably low thousands of Iraqis compared to possibly low millions or at least many thousands of North and South Koreans or that might die if there is a war.
