Mind you there was some bad stuff going on but it was trumped up to get political approval. 2. The Kosovars were linked to the drug trade and to Bin Laden and the Taliban. So in a sense we were aiding the guys who eventually blew us up. So we spent billions helping the side with links to the guys we're trying to clean up. You never operate in a vacuum when you do stuff like that.
