What is not an unfounded conspiracy theory is that the Patriot Act hands unprecedented dictatorial powers to certain federal agencies and the President. That's been said by respected Congressman, Senator's, journalists, and me. It's a fact that the new agency Dept of Homeland Security is reaching out into every facet of our lives to take control of all vital functions. Police, water, fire in every community. It's a fact that their agenda is to have a national ID system, something that has been resisted for decades every time the idea re-emerges. And it's a fact that they intend to have this national ID be a biometric system computer based. Biometric is using your palm print or retina scan as your personal ID. It's a fact that the convicted criminal Poindexter is in charge of the governments TIA (Total Information Awareness) Program. And that TIA program will be computer linked to the Dept of Homeland Security biometric national ID. If you don't know enough about TIA you need to read this. cato.org I suggest printing it out. it's easier to read and you'll always have it. There is so much solid evidence that we are moving to a police state it's not a theory. it's a fact. And now when resistance to Patriot Act is growing in Congress and the sunset clause is drawing close (2004) and Ashcroft can't get Patriot Act II passed (which cancels the sunset clauses in Patriot Act I) we suddenly have heightened alerts of imminent terrorist attacks again. How suspicious. These people are supposed to be dead or on the run. But now that Ashcroft needs a boogy man again they are all thriving and ready to attack us? Aren't you just a little suspicious?
