1/5th the world's population , and we make 9/10's of all sugar~water on the planet ....and use our fair share of everything else. such bad americans... {But we made up for it with Nutra-sweet, corn flakes , and even eat alot of YoPlait these daze } And then again we did sort of do away with the divine right of kings & popes , and offered up a nice two-party debating system , and other somewhat independent channels of discovery and debate that works pretty well , sometimes . Did I say we did away with kings smitten with divine right ? go Dubya , our knight in white armour. ;-)

US has a lot of responsibilities, and as always it starts in the home, in the two-party system.
