I for one am sure they sincerely believed they would find something. But their deceptive tactics wrt the "selling" of this war is where I object. Wolfowitz for one is really brain dead when it comes to "emotional intelligence". Remember when they were crowing about winning the "hearts and minds" of Iraq? You'd have to be really clueless to think that was even possible, after the lone remaining superpower invades a country and kills its leaders. Doesn't matter that these people are brutal tyrants, this is basic human nature. Now we are stuck in a country with no leadership and infrastructure and our guys are getting killed. We won't get any support from the international community if we get attacked again, the deficit is out of control and we have serious, very severe economic conditions in the US dealing with the jobs issue. That is where we are. Bush has a screwy set of priorites. We need to get out of iraq NOW, and get our guys home and focus on the economy and shoring up our borders. I'm not sure there is much Bush can do about the jobs situation.

Isn't it amazing how this administration doesn't lie and yet it somehow manages to keep saying things that aren't true.
