Anyone who is going to buy and hold tech has to stay with the winners, because tech really is a winner-take-all market. There's just no point in trying to trade AMD, for example. Now, Sig enjoys the thrill of the chase, and that's fine because he knows what he's doing.
My guess, coming out of the bear, was biotech, because there really is a lot going on there. But now they've run pretty hard and, sad to say, I've seen this before, in the early '90s _ and again in the late '90s.
I'd love to be a long-term investor. But that's difficult to do in a manic-depressive market.
