<< Even if no WMD are found, this represents a failure of intelligence, not a lie....and indeed it represents the failure of every major intelligence service on the planet since they all agreed that Saddam had WMD....

EXACTLY >>

If I am not mistaken Saddam, himself, during the 1990's stated he had various inventories of nerve and chemical weapons but claimed they had been destroyed. When asked by the UN to show proof of destruction, or witnesses to the destruction, he stonewalled Goofy Annan, as usual, forcing President Bush to by-pass the do-nothing UN. The representative you referred to stated the weapons had been moved to Syria and Libya, but we had no on ground personnel to bring positive proof, at the moment. Of course, the left wing liberal loonies, have conveniently ignored these facts in their desire to ridicule the President and the United States and its citizens. It is no wonder we are disliked in some parts of the world when they hear the Democratic politicians destroying our country with their lies. Treasonous, in my opinion. There is no doubt they have given aid and comfort to the enemy and caused the additional loss of life of our troops.
