Yes, DNS lookups still work. I'll leave the trusted zone settings alone.

Since you have the same blocked attempts I'll assume this is normal behavior. Still, I wonder if there is some benefit to be gained from allowing the DNS server to access my computer.

Speculation: maybe the DNS server wants to check if your computer has the url for a name it is looking up?

But it is finding the names okay. Maybe it wants to put some of the ip addresses I frequently access on my computer to speed things up for me?
