Ironic isn't it that we call it the justice system and you, a representative, declare the truth to be unworthy of success within the system that requires sworn oaths of truth.

It's more generally the clients.

I watch a lot of cop and lawyer shows on TV. In the last few years, a common theme is that you shouldn't even tell your lawyer the truth because that might put him in a position of suborning perjury, which, honest soul that he is, he won't do. Like, the message is that you should lie even to your lawyer. That's really a sorry state of affairs.
