"Sure they are, people get very emotional about romance/sex/family, and often behave poorly when under emotional duress....... Honesty is a test of character. Behaving well/poorly under such situations is the only time it means much. Q: "Did it rain today?" A: "Not yet." I was honest with my answer. Based on that alone would you label me an honest person? What do you have to gain or lose by lying?... property, status, influence.... For what if you gain the entire world and lose your eternal soul in the process?
