Poindexter has been fired or maybe he resigned. My husband heard it on the radio.

Our last official rainfall may have been May 16. I heard that date a few weeks back and
a neighbor also heard the same date. We may have broken the record for the driest May,
June and July ever. If we didn't break the record, we came close.

In June, there was a little rain that helped for a few days, but I am talking about very small
amounts. I am not certain but our rainfall for the May-July period may have exceeded
1 and 1/2 inches by what I'd call a trace. I dread my next water bill......
