yep, everybody knows that. Congress knows it, that is why congress is telling these CEOs to go fly a kite with their short term thinking.

At the other end of the spectrum is a pov that says the US needs to partner with india to remain strong against China in the next 50 years, who knows.

I am in the middle, myself. We didn't have enough labor here for some of these slow moving tech jobs - there is no automation of software work like we have with manufacturing. What I want to see is what I believe congress is attempting- a happy medium. Companies can offshore but the offshore house is one step removed from the planning and vision which is here, that will work for the US and for India. Too many visas here, and no american workers will want to go into technology even though tech is the future.
