BubbaFred, Bush and Hu talked on the phone, and that is yesterday's old news<g>

I don't think there is English version of that China youth Daily, but I will see whether I can find an English translation. Here is the link for Chinese version, and I remember you said you are learning Chinese now so here is the opportunity for you to practice<g> .

peopledaily.com.cn

And that Pakistani newspaper did SOME selective translation, and made the argument very weak. I read the Chinese version, it is much more convincing. And there are a dozen or so famous western biologists support China's claim, although most of them are dead now. And because it was such a taboo topic, so none of them can write a book on it even if they wanted to. what a pity.

And China has solid proof for the US using bio-weapon in Korean War, and some US POW also admitted that. Although after those POW came back to the US, got threaten by the US gov. so they took back their testament later.

One should not be surprised by this. The US has use A-Bomb in Japan, so what is the big deal for them to use bio-weapon in Korean War, and Chemical weapon in Vietnam War? The US can deny all they want, but the fact will surface eventually.

I will let you know if I find an English copy

Here is a TV program in Britain mentioned a part of this:
cpa.org.au

"After the Second World War, the US took over the results of German
experiments with biological agents on inmates of concentration camps in
exchange for protecting the scientists responsible from prosecution. Olson
became part of a unit that furthered this research.

One of the unit's "trials" involved releasing an anthrax-like material in
San Francisco to chart "the possible results of a Soviet bio-weapon
attack".

Olson then became involved in Operation Artichoke, a plan to use drugs,
torture and brainwashing techniques to extract secrets and erase memory.
Early experiments were conducted in a CIA base in Germany on prisoners of
war or refugees from Eastern Europe who were suspected of being Soviet
spies.

Later, such methods were used to "debrief" returning US POWs after the
Korean War who had confessed to their Chinese or Korean captors to having
used biological weapons."
