Internationalization does not make a strong international community, and it certainly does not make anyone a "citizen". Nothing that you mentioned conforms to the idea I objected to, as far as I can see........

<Freedom lovers don't need governments to form a strong international community. Governments get in the way.>

No, that's utopian. Individuals, unorganized, cannot defend themselves against nation-states. In order for individual freedoms to flourish, in order to achieve the maximum possible sovereignty of each person, there must be an agreed-upon set of rules, and a method to enforce those rules. And that equals a government. Otherwise, I will define my freedom, in a way that limits your freedom, and you will have no recourse except to threaten me with the nuke you bought for $19.99 on Ebay (shipping and gift-wrapping free).

You are an anarchist. I don't know whether you realize it, but you are. The wave of the future is not some formless structureless mob of Netizens. Rather, the EU is the future. In Europe, they have slowly reduced the nation-state, to the status of an administrative unit. Power has flowed up, to the EU, and also down, to the regions (Basque, Catalonia, Scotland). As the EU spreads, individual freedoms are guaranteed, over a wider and wider area.

The American Empire, this spasm of violence perpetrated by NeoCon Control Freaks, this is a throwback to the 19th Century. It is an anachronism, a barbarism. It will fail.

<People are surging around the world, intermarrying.>

The 747, like the Pill, has unintended consequences that profoundly change the world. With everybody jetting everywhere, for vacations and business and school, the inevitable happens. Contact is made, flesh gets pressed, and genes are exchanged. Already, in many places, there are almost no PureBreeds. Genetic studies have found, there are virtually no "black" people in the U.S., who don't carry genes that had to come from Europe originally. And vice versa. Future schoolchildren (all the same shade of light yellowish-brown) will read about the Dark Ages, when the savages did ethnic cleansing and race riots in the 21st Century.

Yes, a world community is forming. It speaks English; it wants sovereignty (first national, then individual); it wants to be rich enough to own a cellphone and recieve dividends from their Qualcomm stock (when are they going to start giving dividends?).
