I will wait until the monkey is caught. I used to correspond with a German fellow in Frankfurt, by e-mail. He had never gone to France, or, if I recall correctly, and other country outside his own, although he was pushing 40. He had good English, but no great interest in the UK. He was more pro- American than pro- European, and did not like rumblings about setting up the EU as a rival to the US...........
