But that is not the issue. The issue is that we based our war on the presence of WMD. Bush, Powell, et al were extremely sure that Saddam had them, and that he posed an immediate threat (so much so that Bush would not consider a delay of 45 days to get more UN nations on board).

So, if no credible WMD evidence is found of active weapons or an active program at the time of invasion, what would be the reaction? In the US? In the world?
