I continue to marvel at the alternative universe you seem to inhabit. That last link you provided is a good case in point.

To quote the article, "In 1993, Britain established a 200-mile oil exploration zone around the islands and that oil estimates in this region could produce 500,000 barrels per day. If this occurred, the Falkland/Malvinas Islands would be the largest oil producing region in the world for the next decade.

What an amazing leap of faith this fanciful author is making. First of all, there is no actual oil industry in the Mavinas today. There is no oil production! There is pie-in-the-pond if not in the sky.

Furthermore, this illusory industry is being touted as potentially being the largest oil producing region in the next decade. Huh? 500,000 bpd is only in the mid-range of current production per country.

The U.S. is currently producing 7.5 MMbpd. Saudi Arabia and Russia are both above that.....

Again, how is it that you come up with these convenient fantasy sites? <g>
