Thanks for sharing that reminiscence about Watergate. PBS just did a 2 hour presentation on that scandal. It was interesting in that I'd pretty much tuned out politics in that time frame. After more than my share of tear gassing episodes and other anti-war acting up until 1972, I joined the world of work after college graduation in June, 1972 and paid scant attention.

That is so great you could do that, and that it worked out well for you. My husband couldn't stomach working for defense related companies, so he chose health care instead- and it worked out well for him. He has a lot of friends who work in defense work, and while we never hold the decisions of other people against them, we're glad Mr. X could choose a different path.

Sleeping well is one of the most important things in life. imo, of course
